Storytelling: The city landscape is deforming, undressing and reestablishing into a new modern outlook. Alphabet letters are the introduction for the new subject matter; she plays with the word “ N A K E D C I T Y” to give a literal sense to the space
Entering the Chinese gate route, she finds the wholesale market for household supplies, the cloth design pattern selling in yards, then just walking across to the next warehouse she can get her whole week's groceries at the fresh market, street food and other cookery utensils. At night she passed by and the inner shop closed and the front area was vacant for the night street stall sellers to take over for their shop station. The area is preoccupied during the day and night.
She colored and designed the subject displayed at the original location with symmetry and simultaneous movement. It allows her to play with the complementary colors and beyond. The gouache pigments are prepared into the liquid-alike color medium, the picture was slowly painted to layer up the color of the picture.
